Steve DeLuco is not only a solo artist, but the “foundation” of a band with revolving members, that is DELUCO. The band is not based out of any one city, but derives from many cities scattered throughout the United States and even different parts of the world. People ask what kind of music DeLuco writes. “Simple. Rock n Roll.” DeLuco spent 2010 over seas in Asia where he met and collaborated with Australian based song writer/producer, Gene Shill. Together they wrote and recorded a three song rock EP, Lips and Hips. The first track, a guitar heavy, up beat blues/rock shuffle and the title track of the EP, “Lips and Hips”, just cooks as it kicks off the album, followed by the rock ballad "Ninety Nine Roses", then a powerful rock anthem entitled "Rock Bottom", inspired by rough times in a big city. The album closes with "Ninety Nine Roses"-stripped, which really showcases DeLuco's vocals with an acoustic guitar. After the successful launch in Singapore, DeLuco released the Lips and Hips EP himself, independently worldwide June 29, 2010 through online retailers such as; iTunes, Amazon mp3, and CDBaby. DeLuco has left his mark in Asia and is now back home in the states where the LA based singer/ songwriter is attracting attention from all corners of the globe with his rock music. Infused with elements of 80's styled vocals and slamming guitars ,DeLuco is producing tracks of world wide appeal and quality. 2011 looks to be a promising year full of live shows in the U.S., over seas, and new releases. As an extremely driven artist and strong live performer, DeLuco lets the music speak for itself.
